SF9 celebrate 10 years with Seoul concerts this weekend
SF9 mark their 10th anniversary with two LIVE FANTASY #6 concerts at KBS Arena in Seoul on Oct. 10 and 11, after releasing the album TENACITY in August.
📰 Summary
SF9 hold two 10th-anniversary concerts, “LIVE FANTASY #6,” at KBS Arena in western Seoul on Oct. 10 and 11. The shows follow their anniversary album TENACITY, released Aug. 26, and an anniversary livestream on Oct. 5.
Two members are completing mandatory military service, so SF9 are celebrating as six. A Hong Kong show with the same title follows on Nov. 8.
🎉 Context for new fans
Reaching 10 years is a big deal in K-pop, where many groups split up when their first seven-year contracts end. In interviews, the members joked about aiming for a 60th anniversary. Korean men must serve in the military, so long-running groups often perform with members missing for a while.
