Xdinary Heroes drop IMPULSE on Oct. 12, their first release as five
Xdinary Heroes release mini album IMPULSE on Oct. 12 with lead track Obsessed with Youth, their first music since Gun-il left. A November concert follows.
📰 Summary
JYP Entertainment’s band Xdinary Heroes release the mini album IMPULSE on Oct. 12. It has seven tracks, led by “Obsessed with Youth.” It’s the band’s first release since leader and drummer Gun-il left the group, and its first as a five-member act.
JYP also confirmed the band will hold a concert in November. IMPULSE comes about six months after their eighth mini album, DEAD AND, released in April.
🎸 Context for new fans
Xdinary Heroes are a K-pop band: the members play their own instruments on stage, which is still rare in an industry built on dance groups. A first release after a member leaves is a big moment, so expect fans to pay close attention to how the new lineup sounds live.
